Threesome in Essex by The West Ham Way Podcast

The West Ham Way Podcast are putting on an event with 3 Hammers Legends in Benfleet.

Here's the details:

We are delighted to announce that we are taking our famous West Ham Way Events on the road. Traditionally these have always been prematch events but now we are offering an evening event for you all in the off season.

The event will take place at La Quinta Restaurant which is situated in a perfect location in Benfleet in Essex. The event will take place on Sunday June 25th 7pm-10pm. The venue has parking and there is also the magnet carpark opposite that can be used too. The venue offers a great sound system, it is spacious with a wide range of drinks available on offer.

We are delighted that Mad Dog Martin Allen, who has his own weekly podcast with us on patreon will be hosting the event. For our first event we are kicking off with the legend Julian Dicks as guest alongside folk hero George Parris.

Martin Allen played for 6 years in the claret and blue and acuumulated over 200 appearances. During his time he scored 25 goals and played under 3 different managers. He got his reputation as being a little bit eccentric and this comes across in his presenting style too. Martin also had 13 different spells as a club manager and works for the Referee's association and as a club ambassador who also does stadium tours. This means he can cover a range of topics with much inside knowledge.

George Parris played for the club for 11 years including during our highest ever league position in 1986 finishing 3rd. He made over 250 appearances for the club scoring 12 goals. George is a very popular player and played under the great John Lyall for many years. He is very open with some of the off pitch struggles he has faced and has a very positive outlook on life. George is also an ambassador at the club too.

The legend Julian Dicks needs no introduction to West Ham fans. Over his two spells at the club he played almost 300 times and scored over 50 goals. Many of them from the penalty sport with his trusted left foot. Julian had a hardman status in the game and was known to not be messed with. Julian also returned to the club as a coach under Slaven Bilic and was in the dugout for the famous last game in history at Upton Park.

The three players were all team mates so the banter between the three of them should be great.

Our ticket prices are:

£20 to non patreons which need to be bought from this link

£10 for children bought from this link.

These ticket prices are cheaper than our usual prematch prices but they do not include an all inclusive bar, drinks will need to be bought in addition.

We cannot wait to see you all there. If this event is a success we will look to do more in this location and in other parts of Essex and Kent.
